2005 Youth+Womens European Championship

After just missing out on victory in the first round, Alexz Wigg came back to take victory this time around in Norway, just edging out Benjamin Liotaud by two marks. Finishing the event on 10 and 12 respectively.

Britain’s Ross Danby took fourth position in a relatively low scoring event, on 28 marks. Alfredo Gomez took the final step on the podium ahead of Danby just a couple marks off the leading two on 14 marks.

In the women’s championship, Laia Sanz took yet another victory ahead of German rider, Iris Kramer took the second spot on the podium 10 marks of the Spaniard.

Becky Cook roder her Gas Gas to an impressive 4th position just missing out on the podium but a single mark behind Claire Bertrand.
