Day One
Adam Raga extended his lead at the top of the championship after taking victory on day one in Gefrees, Germany.
Montesa-HRC riders, Marc Freixa and Dougie Lampkin made up the rest of the podium with Takahisa Fujinami having a disaster finishing back in 8th position.
Lap 1 saw Marc freixa take an early lead ahead of Raga, 4 points in the clear, however a brilliant second lap score of just 15 for Raga was good enough to edge him into the lead after lap 2. Marc Freixa has to settle for second position just 1 mark behind Raga and missing out on his first win on the 4RT by the smallest of margins.
Dougie Lampkin took third position on 51 marks, well off the pace of the leading two. Youngster, Jeroni Fajardo was just a few marks off Lampkin in fourth position.
Britain’s James Dabill deserves a worthy mention in his first ever World Trials Championship ride. After dominating in the first 9 round in the Junior cup, it was time for the Beta rider to step up onto the championship course. His first day saw him finish in an impressive 14th position. Beating fellow Brit, Sam Connor.

Day Two
Day two saw Adam Raga crowned the 2005 Outdoor World Trials Champion.
Raga dominated the second day finishing 9 marks ahead of Toni Bou in second on 26 marks.
Raga turned in two single figure lap scores, the only rider to do so on the day. Bou saw himself in second with a decent margin between him and Takahisa Fujinami who ended the day on 31 marks.
Dougie Lampkin saw himself come out on top in a three way tie-breaker between himself, Graham Jarvis and Albert Cabestany. Lampkin took the 4th spot with Graham Jarvis coming out on top ahead of team mate Albert Cabestany in 6th.
This results gives Adam Raga his first outdoor world championship title after a number of seasons not far off the pace. Raga has finally added the outdoor championship to his three indoor titles.
